As all teachers know S.T.E.M is massive in schools at the moment, that’s why Allansmagic in 2016 developed our very own S.T.E.M show to educate and amaze children in this subject.
As S.T.E.M & C.I.T.B ambassadors, Allansmagic will show how S.T.E.M can be used to create magic, inspire pupils and show how S.T.E.M is useful in any career. Our 40 minute presentation will show how amazing magic can be created by using even the most basic of S.T.E.M principles.
Two different shows are available for different ages :5 – 7 year olds and 8-12 year olds.
PUPILS WILL :Not only a great way to build confidence but fantastic inspiration to continue with S.T.E.M subjects.

“The Magic of Maths” is a FUN and INTERACTIVE presentation developed specially for 8 – 14 year old children.
It brings the “ WOW” factor to mathematics by demonstrating how many magic effects uses mathematical formulas to achieve magical outcomes.
The show has a very much “ hands on “ approach and is designed to get pupils thinking about mathematics in a fun and a unique way. Throughout the show pupils are split into small groups to solve various puzzles and problems, and therefore is excellent for team building.

“Mega Memory” is a fun, interactive presentation that shows the benefits of having a super power memory.
During the presentation ( which incorporates various elements from the Curriculum for Excellence programme ) students are taught how to use memory tools such as linking and pegging to remember objects and numbers. They will also be amazed when they learn to recite the alphabet BACKWARDS in less than two minutes!
“Mega Memory” is suitable for P5 – P7 and all ages of secondary students.
